STEVE IDELMAN Chairman of the Board, CEO, President
As Solutionary's chairman of the board and chief executive officer, Steve Idelman is responsible for setting corporate direction and strategy. With over 25 years experience as a successful entrepreneur and CEO, he is widely known for his leadership skills, business management expertise, and vision. Prior to co-founding Solutionary, he was an investor, board member, and consultant working with select internet and technology companies. Before this, Mr. Idelman co-founded Omaha-based ITI Marketing Services, which provided managed marketing and information services to Fortune 500 clientele in the financial services, healthcare, telecommunications, travel, and other data intensive industries. Under his leadership, the company built its reputation as a clear industry leader, grew its annual revenue to $150 million, and routinely received its industry's highest award for quality. ITI's culture and success are identified in The Competitiveness of Nations, the business best seller by Harvard Professor Dr. Michael Porter.
Mr. Idelman majored in Business Administration/Personnel Management at the University of Illinois.
Sheri Idelman is Solutionary's vice chair and chief operating officer. She is responsible for building the corporate infrastructure and processes required to deliver top quality, high-volume, managed security services. Ms. Idelman brings more than 20 years experience in the information and customer service industries as a successful entrepreneur and executive. Prior to co-founding Solutionary, Ms. Idelman was an investor and consultant involved with several Internet and wireless companies. In early 1986, she co-founded Omaha based ITI Marketing Services and was the company's chief operating officer from its inception through 1995 when it was sold. At ITI, she was responsible for creating the systems, processes, security awareness, and security practices required to grow the company and manage large scale, high-volume data environments (27 centers with more than 12,000 employees) on a 24x7 basis.
Ms. Idelman received her education at Southern Illinois University. In addition, she has been the recipient of multiple Business Excellence and Entrepreneurial Achievement awards.
Mike Hrabik has over 20 years of high-level information technology experience and is the principal architect for Solutionary's security services and Security Operations Centers (SOCs) - including all proprietary processes and software (eV3®, ActiveGuard® etc.). Prior to Solutionary, Mr. Hrabik served as the vice president of technology for NetCount, a third-party web-traffic measurement and analysis company that processed over 70 million transactions per day. Prior to NetCount, he advised numerous technology companies on architecting, implementing, and securing large volume, data processing operations. Mr. Hrabik began his career at ITI Marketing Services, working his way up to being the technology executive in charge of all internal systems, networks, and security - an infrastructure that processed and protected more than two million client transactions daily.
Mr. Hrabik received his B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. He is a member at large of the Omaha Chapter of the FBI's InfraGard program and is a security expert who frequently speaks at various industry events.
David Nicol is executive vice president, chief financial officer, secretary and treasurer of Solutionary. For twenty plus years he has focused on setting strategic direction and driving profitable growth for technology-based enterprises. He currently serves as an outside director for Evolving Systems, Inc (Nasdaq) and on several advisory boards. Most recently, Mr. Nicol raised $6.3 million of venture capital and helped launch Sipera Systems (Dallas), a startup developing security software for VoIP. Until the end of 2003, Mr. Nicol served as senior vice president of product management and development for VeriSign Communications Services, a provider of critical network and IT services to all segments of the service provider industry. Prior to its acquisition by VeriSign in 2001 for over $1 B, he held the same position with Illuminet. As a member of the executive team that created Illuminet in early 1996, Mr. Nicol conceived and helped implement Illuminet's business model, and in 1999 he was on the IPO team (Nasdaq). Prior to Illuminet, he held executive positions with several early stage companies that were subsequently sold or merged into larger entities. From 1984 through 1990, Mr. Nicol held various officer positions with Sprint Corporation, lastly serving as vice president of corporate planning.
Mr. Nicol holds a PhD and M.A. in corporate finance and economics, and a B. Sc. in aeronautical engineering.
CHRIS REHBERG Executive Vice President, Operations
Chris Rehberg is Solutionary's executive vice president in charge of operations. Bringing more than 20 years of experience in providing data intensive, secure, managed services, Mr. Rehberg is responsible for Solutionary's Security Operations Center and Security Consulting Services groups. Prior to joining Solutionary, he worked at ITI Marketing Services for over thirteen years where he served in a variety of leadership positions including vice president of account management and vice president of operations. After the company was sold to Golder, Thoma, Cressey and Rauner (GTCR) in 1995, Mr. Rehberg remained at the company under its new ownership through its subsequent sale to publicly held APAC Customer Services. At APAC, he was responsible for a $200 million operation and all aspects of recruiting, new hire training, management training, and quality assurance functions for the company's highly distributed operations in over 90 centers spread across 14 states. The security and privacy of client programs, proprietary data, electronic information exchange and the physical safety and security of the company's 25,000 employees were key responsibilities that cut across all departmental functions.
Mr. Rehberg majored in Small Business Management at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
DON COLLIER Senior Vice President, Field Sales Operations
Don Collier is responsible for field sales management, regional technical managers, and the inside sales team. He offers Solutionary a unique sales management approach though the combination of his background in sales, consulting, and finance. Prior to joining Solutionary, he helped start-up companies grow at 150% per year, staging them for acquisition such organizations as ISS and VeriSign. Before venturing into security, he worked as a CPA and consultant with Arthur Andersen.
Mr. Collier received his B.S. from Wayne State University located in Detroit, Michigan.
Carol Mueller is responsible for Solutionary's marketing strategy and program. She came to Solutionary from Espiria, Inc., where she headed marketing and client relations since 1998, prior to Espiria's merge with Solutionary in 2006. She was previously employed by Wells Fargo Bank in corporate security and relations management for multiple lines of business. Mueller's ten years in information security provide the solid foundation necessary for Solutionary's myriad marketing initiatives in the managed security and compliance services space.
Mueller was an original 1999 board member and is now a member at large of the Minnesota Chapter of the FBI's InfraGard program. She is a contributing member of the Direct Marketing Association (DMA) Advisory Committee. She graduated summa cum laude with her bachelor's degree in Marketing and Speech Communication.
Don Gray is responsible for assessing and integrating strategic technologies in support of the corporate direction. A 14-year veteran of technology applications development, Gray brings "in-the-trenches" information technology experience to his role. Don comes to Solutionary by way of VigilantMinds where he was a co-founder and chief technology officer. He has served as director of technology for marchFIRST, where he led teams that designed, developed and implemented multi-million dollar solutions to web enable businesses in the financial, manufacturing, and advertising sectors. Prior to marchFIRST, Don was a practice manager with Idea Integration, and Mellon Bank, where he had hands-on responsibility for client/server cash management systems.
Gray received a B.S. in Computer Based Systems Management from California University in Pennsylvania.
